To make life easy for disaster and flood recovery users we have a single click system for creating a new job site and moving a gateway from an old job site to a new job site.  Just follow these steps:

1. login to your account
2. click on the "gateways" link below the job site that has the gateway you want to move to a new site
3. click on the "edit" link for the gateway you want to move to a new site
4. click on "assign" button and a new site is created and the gateway is assigned to it.   The new site name will be "Auto Site for Gateway ID: XXXXXXXX" where "XXXXXXXX" is your gateway ID.
5. You should edit the description of the new site, click on "Job Sites" then "edit" for the new "Auto Site for Gateway ID: XXXXXXXX" site.

TIP - if gateways are not assigned to ANY job site their data has no place to go so it is discarded.  For disaster and flood recovery users this can be a problem if you go to a job in the middle of the night and install the gateway but do not set up the site until the next day as data will be lost until teh gateway is assigned to a job site.  The solution to this is at the end of every job, use the procedure above to assign the gateway to a new site and leave it parked there until you need it.  Then, when you install the gateway at a new job in the middle of the night, the data has someplace to go and at your leisure you can edit the site descrption to match where you installed the gateway.
