Hi,
I want to re-purpose a old G3 Data Acquisition Gateway.
Following the instructions in the user manual, I attempted to connect to it with a laptop, first using ethernet cable and then connecting to its WiFi SSID.
In both cases, the laptop was allocated an IP address (10.168.1.188 in case of ethernet, 192.168.88.106 in case of WiFi).
Using Firefox browser, I attempted to access the Management webpage at http://10.168.1.98 for ethernet and http://192.168.88.1 for WiFi.
In all cases, I got a "Unable to connect" error page.
(I was careful to type http:// not https:// in every case)
However, from a terminal, I was able to ping the gateway on 10.168.1.98 for ethernet and 192.168.88.1 for WiFi with no lost packets.
I attempted to perform factory reset on the gateway by pushing the reset button for > 60s, expecting to see the status lights flash as described on page 9 of the manual, but there was no response.
Did I do something incorrectly or could the gateway have developed a fault?
Thanks for any advice,
Paul
