There are 3 ways to see signal strength:
1. The “Cellular” LED shows real time signal strength using the blink rate where faster is better. Not on/not blinking means no signal.
2. View the gateway’s management login web page. Connect to the gateway’s WiFi access point (SSID = “omnisense”, open/no password) with your laptop, tablet or smartphone then enter “10.168.1.98” into your web browser. On that page you will see real time signal quality/bars.
3. On the monitoring web site you can view the most recent signal strength by clicking on “job sites” then “gateways” then the gateway ID then look for “MODEM Signal Quality:” . Note that this is generally only sent once when the gateway first connects to our server so is not “real time”.
